Uncle Clancey and Meghan's Visit

Mitch's brother Clancey and his girlfriend Meghan stayed with us for the weekend. We had a great time with them.

Leah enjoying some time with Clancey and notice what she is doing. I think she has been watching her older sister too much.
Clare ready to try out her new wagon. She loved riding in it.

Leah was upgraded to the jogger since Big Sister was in the wagon.

Clare's Birthday Party

Clare had a great party. There was just the right amount of people who came. She was really spoiled. Clare got a bike from us, a wagon from Grandma Bonnie, a sandbox from Grandpa and Grandma Strand, and new Georgia boots like Daddy's from Grandma Nanni. She also got lots of other things as well.
Clare trying really hard to blow out the candles.

Daddy so proud that she was able to it.

She loves this baby that her friends Jackson and Carson gave her.
Enjoying opening more presents.

Clare absolutely loves playing in the sandbox. Everyday she is asking to go outside play in it.

Clare 2 Years Old

We can't believe Clare is 2 years old. She is turning into a little girl before our eyes. Here are some of the things she is doing:
  • Potty Trained
  • Says her ABC's
  • Counts to 10
  • Loves to help around the house.
  • Loves being a big sister.
  • Reading books is one of her favorite things. She loves to have storytime with Mom and Dad.
  • Her vocabulary is amazing and everyday she comes up with new words and sayings.

Sock Hop 2010

Mitch had a Sock Hop at his school the night of Clare's birthday so we all dressed up and went to the dance. Clare had so much fun dancing and chasing the older kids around.

Mitch looks exactly like his Grandpa Corky when he was around this age.
Trying to get Clare to smile but she was pretty exhausted.

Notice that they both are wearing converse.

Valentine's Day

Mitch's mom came over on Valentine's day to stay the night. Clare and her were busy making cookies.
Again, Clare was the official taste tester.
Look Mom, Grandma is even letting me eat candy.

Clare not liking the fact that I said no more.
Just one more, I don't think Mom will notice. She then proceeded to put a handful of candy in her mouth thinking that one more meant to put as much in as possible.

Talk to the Hand

Who knew a 2 year old and 4 month old could have so much attitude?
Miss Sassy and Independent
Hmmm, I wonder where Leah learned that?

Duck Park

We went to a park that has several ducks and geese to feed. One goose was taller than Clare so she wasn't so sure about him but she enjoyed feeding the ducks and playing in the park.
Clare was fine as long as Mitch held her.
Clare worried about the big goose behind her.

Say Cheese!

Daddy is such a little boy himself. He climbed this tree and wanted me to hand Clare up to him. She thought it was pretty cool.

A Daddy's Love

Mitch loves his little girls so much. You can just see it in his eyes and the way he interacts with them. I couldn't resist posting these pictures. They bring tears to my eyes seeing the love Mitch has for his girls. I'm so lucky to be married to a man that loves his wife and kids unconditionally.

Mitch enjoying some downtime with Leah.
I wish I could sleep this sound.

Laundry Helpers

Clare is my little helper and is very good at emptying the clothes basket so that she can get a ride in it. She was trying to convince Grandma to push Leah and her.

Clare, "Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee, Grandma."
Grandma finally gave in.
