Introducing Sarah Grace Richards

We welcomed our third daughter, Sarah Grace Richards, on July 24.  We are loving  being a family of 5 and we are so blessed to have another healthy  baby girl.

Mommy and her two little angels.  Excuse the wild hair it was 5:30 in the morning.
Our last picture of a family of four.
Mitch and I waiting patiently for the delivery.  It was so much different the third time around.
Meeting Sarah for the first time.  It is amazing how much she looked like her older sisters.
She weighed 7lbs 1.4oz and was 21 inches long.
Daddy enjoying some quiet time with his third daughter.  He wouldn't give her up to anyone.
The girls finally getting to meet their sister.  They were so excited.
Clare holding her for the first time, she kept saying, "She's so cute."
Grandma Nani holding Sarah for the first time.  She definitely has the most hair and the reddest out of all three girls.
Grandma Bon Bon enjoying meeting Sarah.

We are doing great as a family of 5.  The older two girls are adjusting well and Sarah is a dream baby.  We have had lots of help from our Mom's and friends.  Our church family has been very generous in providing us with meals for the last couple weeks.  We are so greatful for our new angel and getting to spend quality time together as a family.

We're Back

Wow! I can't believe it has been almost a year since we have last updated with any posts.  We have had an exciting last couple of years and starting to enter another new chapter in our lives.  Mitch and I have been married going on ten years and there isn't a better way to celebrate the year than to welcome our third little angel, Sarah Grace.  Over the last couple of years we have moved into our dream home, made some career changes, worked through some of the most heartbreaking challenges we have experienced as a family, and most recently expanded our family.  We are so thankful for all the blessings bestowed on us and I look forward to sharing some of our special moments.  We are very busy but I recognize that blogging provides me the opportunity to document our life and share with others our amazing little family.  I look forward to showing you are three little girls and the excitement they bring to our lives daily.

New Addition

We recently expanded our family with the addition of Maggie, a black lab.  Our neighbors had puppies and we just couldn't resist them.  Plus, ealier this summer we almost lost Gage and it was very hard for Clare so we thought it would be good to have another puppy.  Gage is almost 10 and we aren't sure how much longer he will be around.  We forgot how much work puppies were.

Clare's First Day of Preschool

Clare started pre-school this year at Agapeland.  She was so excited to finally get to go.  When we registered her back in February she was ready for us to leave her at the class.  I was able to take her on the first day.  We read a book together for the first few minutes and then the teacher had Clare find her name in the circle.  She found her name and sat there so patiently, waiting for her next instructions.  I couldn't believe how brave she was and I was a little emotional walking out leaving her.

She was all ready to go with her special Fancy Nancy backpack from Great Grandma Moo.
She turning into a little girl before our very eyes.  It seems like just yesterday she was born.
Daddy so proud of his little one.
We decided to treat her to Red Robin.  She was a little sad when I picked her up from Pre-School.  I asked her what was wrong, "A little girl told me mommies weren't coming back."  I reassured her that she wouldn't be left at Pre-School and we haven't had any tears since.

Ellensburg Rodeo Parade

This year the Ellensburg Rodeo Parade was really special for the girls.  They were so excited to see their Grandma Nani riding in the parade.  She was a rodeo princess in 1976 and the royalty was inducted into the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame.
The girls waiting so patiently for Grandma.

Leah couldn't wait to see Grandma.  She was crying so hard when she couldn't go with Grandma during the parade.

Fashion Show

The girls were really excited to get new outfits from Grandma Nani for the rodeo.  They insisted on putting everything on one evening.  They were so proud of their new clothes.

She was so excited to take a picture for Grandma Nani.
Leah's outfit was a little big but she still wanted to wear it.
Sisterly lover.  Often times Clare wants to give Leah hugs but Leah runs from her saying "No, No sissy. No kiss.""

Yummy Corn

Leah loves corn on the cob, she always says "Yummy Corn."

She prefers eating it directly off the cob.
