Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day in the afternoon with Mommy's side of the family. I really had a fun time playing with my cousins, spending time with my Papa, and meeting my Great Aunt Pat and Judy. We wish everyone else could have made it but the weather made it impossible for eveyone to be there. We had a great time. Thank you Papa and Grandma for a great day.
I just love my Papa! He makes lots of funny faces and makes me laugh.
I had a lot of help opening my presents. My cousins would unwrap them and then I would try to eat the paper before it was taken away.

Here is the Three Musketeers! All waiting eagerly to begin opening presents.

Papa and his two darling angels (who never do anything wrong according to Papa :)
Maybe you should ask their mothers.

Merry Christmas!

We spent Christmas morning with just the three of us. Mitch and I were so excited to for Clare to wake up. She slept in until 8, which is pretty late for her. We almost couldn't stand it and we're about to go wake her up.

Daddy helping Clare walk to the tree.
Clare spotting her present from Santa, I don't think she was awake quite yet.

This is hard to keep your balance when your trying to wake up.

I really do like to ride it.

Opening her stocking with Daddy. She was more interested in eating the paper.

Richards' Christmas

We spend Christmas Eve morning at Mitch's mom's house. It worked out well since I had to work out of town at a clients so Mitch was able to spend time with his family for a couple of days. It was really special for Mitch to spend time with his Mom and two brothers. Clare had a great time even though she was fighting another ear infection (more on that later). We enjoyed a very white Christmas.

Three generations.

Here is the Richards' boys and their mom. She is so glad she got a granddaughter as you can tell she was blessed with three very manly men so she is having a little girl to spoi.

Is this for me?

Oh, boy I love ripping paper.

Uncle Lee spending some time with me.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went to the candlelight service at our church. It was so much fun to dress Clare up. The church was absolutely beautiful. The service was absolutely wonderful and a great reminder to us the reason for season.
Clare sitting up like a big girl.
Here she is hamming it up for the camera.

Here Clare is saying, "So BIG", whenever, we ask Clare how big she is this is her response.

Cousin Hannah

My cousing Hannah came down to visit me from Alaska. We had so much fun together.

She was so fun to watch in the bath tub.
What is she doing with my toys?

Umm, I'm not sure we are suppose to be in here.

Giddy UP

Clare just loves riding rocking horses. Can you guess what Santa is going to bring her?

She did really well sitting up there by herself.
Making sure everyone is looking at her.

She even learned to get off by herself.

Dress Up

I have so much fun dressing Clare up. This was a sweater set that her Grandma Milligan got for her.
She thinks she is such a big gir.

I'm falling, help me!!
Oh, that is much better without shoes and socks.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

This year we decided to get a christmas tree permit and go find one in the woods. The day was absolutely beautiful. We hiked about a mile and half before we found the perfect tree, at least we thought it was perfect. I kept telling Mitch "remember however far we hike up the mountain we have to hike back down." Lets just say he was a little tired when we got back down the mountain and actually admitted to me that maybe we walked a little far.

Daddy and Clare already for our hike!
Mitch sent me down a ravine to look at a tree since Clare was on his back.

We finally found the tree.

Mitch working hard.

Clare chilling in the backpack.
The dog was even tired from the trek up.

Here we are before the hike up the 10 ft embankment to get to the trail.

Clare was pooped from all the excitement.

Still sleeping while we ate our lunch.

It was a gorgeous day. We will definitely be coming here in the Spring to do the full hike.

Clare hung out in the exer saucer while we decorated the tree.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma Milligan's house. It was a lot of fun. Clare ate so much on Thanksgiving. She ate anything that was put in front of her. Unfortunately, Clare was pretty sick with her 5th ear infection in four weeks. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving she received a shot of antibiotics and lets just say it didn't agree with her too well. We changed clothes about four times everyday over the break. It was a good thing that Mitch and I were both around. Overall, she did really well and the antibiotics finally kicked in.

UMMM, that milkshake is very good!
I need some more!

I have brain freeze.

Here I am playing in my turkey shirt before I needed an outfit change.

I love it all!

Lots of New Pictures

Finally, I have posted some new pictures. It was rather quiet in the house tonight since Clare went to be at 7:30 and Daddy was at a friend's house watching ultimate fighting. It's amazing how many posts I can do uninterrupted. You will need to go back to October to see all the new posts.

Big Girl!

Clare is turning into a little lady. Her Grandma Bonnie bought her this outfit, which she wore to church.
