Sisterly Love

Clare has adapted so well to being a Big Sister. I was a little concerned that she was too young and that the adjustment would be very difficult for her. I spent the first few weeks worry about not being able to spend as much time with Clare but she absolutely loves having a little sister. The other day I was in the store with the two of them and Clare kept saying hi to everyone and would introduce her sister by saying "Sister Leah Sleeping." It was so precious. Clare calls her many different names sissy, sister, sister Leah, and Leah. Everytime she leaves Leah she says, "Wuv you sister Leah." and Leah is the first person who Clare wants to see in the morning. I often find Clare standing up on the side of the crib telling sissy to wake-up. She is constantly bringing Leah toys to put in her bouncy or swing. I just know they are going to be the best of friends. Clare is even a little a mommy who will often tell me "Sister Crying" and "Sister Stinky" while holding her nose. Clare loves to kiss and hug on sister as evident in the photos below.

Clare loves kissing Leah on the lips. Lets just say that we don't worry about germs as much with the second one.

Clare so proud that she is reading to sister.
Clare sharing her toys with Leah.
I'm suprised Clare hasn't knocked Leah out of her bouncer since this is a common occurrence about 15 times a day.
